False Bay Sports Shooting Club NPC (“FBSSC”)TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR VISITORS Any visitor to the FBSSC hereby agrees and accepts that the FBSSC has the sole right and discretion to decide on his/her level of access, which right and discretion is reserved at all times. All persons receiving access to the FBSSC’s premises shall agree to the following before entry: RESPONSIBLE SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR: - To adhere to the current Firearms Control Act 60 of 2000 its Regulations, SABS standards, the Rules and Regulation of the FBSSC, and general safety provisions with respect to the carrying, using and shooting of firearms on any range at the premises of the FBSSC.
- To ensure all firearms carried on or transported to the Range are carried in an unloaded / “Cold” Condition and firearms are loaded only on the shooting range or at a designated area. No loaded firearms are permitted in the Clubhouse.
- An Unloaded firearm is one which has no load or cartridge in the chamber, and no magazine for a semi-automatic pistol or rifle in the magazine well.
FBSSC RANGE INDEMNITY: - I acknowledge that by entering the premises of FBSSC there are potential ‘hazards and risks’ associated with a shooting range,
- I accept that participation/spectating in/at matches/events/training or any other activities at FBSSC b are entirely at my own risk.
- I agree to wear the necessary Eye and Ear Protection at all times in the range area of the FBSSC while participating in or observing any activities at the range, including any movement around the range.
- I hereby indemnify FBSSC, their directors, committees, officials, staff, agents, representatives or assigns and hold them harmless in respect of any claim whatever, arising out of any injury or death or damage to property which I or anyone else may suffer as a result of any act or omission by the above, its directors, committees, officials, staff, agents, representatives or assigns, whether such act or omission is negligent or not.
- I expressly assume any and all such risks with respect to the activities and circumstances including but not limited to those described herein, and pledge not to sue FBSSC on account of any such losses, claims, costs, liabilities, injuries, disabilities or damage arising.
- I confirm that this indemnity is binding on me, my estate, executors, dependents, children or assigns.
